In its first edition, APTRA awarded the biopic about the life of Fito Páez as “Best Fiction Series.”
The series produced by Mandarina Contenidos for Netflix, was awarded and was attended by Mariano Chihade, CEO of Mandarina and Executive producer and Juan Pablo Kolodziej, Showrunner and Executive Producer. They took the stage along with Micaela Riera, who shined as Fabiana Cantilo and Daryna Butryk as Cecilia Roth and part of the cast to thank for receiving the first Martin Fierro Cinema Award.
“Thanks to Fito who allowed us to tell part of his story, to Netflix who trusted us and all Mandarina team. Also to the directors and actors who so well interpreted the glories of national rock ” said Chihade.
Kolodziej highlighted and thanked “the people who continue to trust new talent. “It’s a great series made by a lot of new people in this industry.”
With this award, the series receives its 20th award, of which 5 of them recognize it as Best Series, as well as being declared of Cultural Interest by the City of Buenos Aires.
The argentine musical biographical series tells the life of the iconic Argentine singer-songwriter Fito Páez. The plot is about his beginnings, his career, the challenges he faced and his rise to stardom within the national rock scene. The talented cast includes Iván Hochman, Micaela Riera, Gaspar Offenhenden, Martín Campilongo, Andy Chango, Mirella Pascual and Mónica Raiola. El amor Después del amor was directed by Gonzalo Tobal and Felipe Gómez Aparicio.
